I’m getting my “Skrap” on
and playing along in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge today.
I love the simplicity and complexity of their sketch this week.
I say “complexity” because I have a tendency to overthink when I create
and this was definitely one of those times.
I tossed around quite a few ideas and then I tossed them right out!
I couldn’t seem to get it together for this sketch until, in a last-ditch effort,
I decided to look in my trusty little scrap drawer.
Laying right on top was a little flower and the “Prayer” sentiment
left over from a previous project.
Once I had them on my scrappy table, the rest of the card pulled itself together.
Don’t you just love it when that happens!
May you see past the complexities and find joy in the simple things today.
